DNS Entry

A DNS (Domain Name System) entry is a fundamental component of internet infrastructure, translating human-readable domain names into IP addresses that machines can understand, thereby directing traffic to the correct locations on the web. DNS entries can include different types such as A (for IPv4 addresses) and AAAA (for IPv6 addresses) records, among others. For more detailed information, refer to the official DNS documentation.

Supported Methods

  • GET: A DNS A or AAAA entry to look up
  • LIST
  • SEARCH: A DNS name (or IP for reverse DNS), this will perform a recursive search and return all results. It is recommended that you always use the SEARCH method
