Capacity Reservation Fleet

The Capacity Reservation Fleet in AWS EC2 allows users to reserve capacity for Amazon EC2 instances in multiple Availability Zones and with a variety of instance types. This enables the user to ensure that they have the necessary capacity to launch instances when they need them, without the need to manually manage individual capacity reservations. For more detailed information, you can refer to the official AWS documentation.

Supported Methods

  • GET: Get a capacity reservation fleet by ID

ec2-capacity-reservation

The ec2-capacity-reservation fleet allows users to reserve EC2 capacity in advance. It is directly linked to individual ec2-capacity-reservation resources, providing a scalable and flexible means to allocate the necessary compute resources across multiple instance types and zones. By organising these reservations into a fleet, users can manage them efficiently and ensure their deployments are not hindered by unexpected capacity shortages.
